| Description |
English: This replica lighthouse is in the town of Pictou and modeled after the historic Caribou Lighthouse that once stood on a nearby point. It is the home of one of the largest collections of lighthouse information and memorabilia in Canada.
It is also the home of the Northumberland Fisheries Museum. Contains the Irwin Collection of over 18,000 photos and 20 years of research and artifacts. Caribou Harbor Buoy SS1, is a buoy fitted with a warning bell that was activated by the movement of the waves. |
