De gauche à droite: année de la nomination du titulaire de la commende (abbé commendataire); nom de l'abbaye; nom du tituaire; nom du diocèse où se trouve l'abbaye; montant, en florins, de la somme versée à Rome pour la nomination; montant, en livres, du revenu annuel de l'abbaye.
English: First page of the list of several hundred French commendatory abbeys contained in the Almanach Royal of 1742. From left to right: the year the current commendatory abbot received his benefice; name of the abbey; name of the commendatory abbot; name of the diocese; amount (in florins) paid to Rome for the nomination; the abbey's income (in livres). On the right, the letter "A" stands for Augustinian, "B" for Benedictine, "C" for Cistercian, and "P" for Premonstratensian.
