Description
English: Fall scenery at the Llano Seco Unit of the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex on an October morning in 2022. Ten thousands of birds come to Llano Seco as part of their winter migration on the Pacific Flyway. The refuge, located about 10 miles southwest of the city of Chico, consists of 1,732 acres of wetlands and grasslands.
