DescriptionLongwall Street - geograph.org.uk - 721653.jpg
English: Longwall Street The old wall of Magdalen College on the right gives the street its name. This view, looking north, shows the junction with Holywell Street, now gated, and St Cross Road. In the C18 two undergraduates were hanged for highway robbery on the gallows there.
The brick building on the left is the 1910 Morris Garage where the future Lord Nuffield created his first car.
