Summary

Description

Inside the chapel of an exclusive Scottish fee-paying school about 1981, There were mostly boys at the school at that time but also a small number of girls. Inside the chapel is a memorial plaque to world champion F1 racing driver Jim Clark who had been a pupil here. Years later Ayerton Senna came to the chapel to pay his respects to the former champion.

Further info on the school and notable alumni here: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loretto_School" rel="noreferrer nofollow">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loretto_School</a>

The photo was set up for a school prospectus. Full uniform, including kilts, were worn. Few pictures like this have ever been taken here.

Note a relatively high proportion of fair, red or light-coloured hair in the boys and girls. That gene is very prominent in parts of Scotland and one of the highest incidences in the world.
