| Description |
Inside the chapel of an exclusive Scottish fee-paying school about 1981, There were mostly boys at the school at that time but also a small number of girls. Inside the chapel is a memorial plaque to world champion F1 racing driver Jim Clark who had been a pupil here. Years later Ayerton Senna came to the chapel to pay his respects to the former champion. Full uniform, including kilts, were worn. Few pictures like this have ever been taken here. Note a relatively high proportion of fair, red or light-coloured hair in the boys and girls. That gene is very prominent in parts of Scotland and one of the highest incidences in the world. Nikkormat/50mm f2.0 ai/Kodachrome/ 1/60 at f2.8 as I recollect. |
