Deutsch: Das Kostkahaus (bezeichnet nach dem letzten Seifensieder in Mödling) am Freiheitsplatz in der niederösterreichischen Bezirkshauptstadt Mödling und rechts zum Teil die Pest- bzw. Dreifaltigkeitssäule.
Das alte Öler- beziehungsweise Seifensiederhaus ist ein langgestreckter zweigeschossiger Baukomplex mit zwei rechteckigen Höfen und ist in der Substanz spätmittelalterlich. Der Straßentrakt (Enzersdorfer Straße) und hinterer Trakt stammen aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Dazwischen liegt ein überdachter Hof mit Renaissancearkaden und Säulen, die mit 1566 datiert sind. Der Renaissance-Runderker stammt ebenfalls aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Die Platzfront ist durch eine polychromierte Sonnenuhr geschmückt, die mit der Jahreszahl 1503 versehen ist. |
