Deutsch: Die Südansicht der röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche St. Othmar in der niederösterreichischen Stadt Mödling und davor ein Pieta-Pfeiler aus dem Jahr 1694.
Die dreischiffige, gotische Hallenkirche wurde von 1454 bis 1523 errichtet. Nach Zerstörung der Kirche 1529 durch die Osmanen wurde das Dach und Gewölbe erst im 17. Jahrhundert wieder hergestellt. 1683 erfolgte eine neuerliche Zerstörung. Der heutige Dachstuhl wurde 1690 hergestellt. Von 1875 bis 1897 erfolgte eine Generalsanierung und Regotisierung. Dabei wurden unter anderem die seit der Barockzeit vermauerten Fenster wieder freigelegt. |
