Summary

Description
English: Main Building, later renamed Samford Hall, located on South College Street in Auburn, Alabama, was built in 1888 to replace the original building of the East Alabama Male College (now Auburn University) after it burned in 1887. Samford Hall currently houses the offices of the Auburn University administration. This photograph was first published in the 1890 - 1891 Catalog of the State Agricultural and Mechanical College, Alabama Polytechnic Institute in Auburn, Alabama.
