Description
English: A satellite collage of the 21 tropical cyclones worldwide that reached at least Category 3 on the Saffir–Simpson scale during the year 2013, from Cyclone Narelle (upper left) in January of that year to Cyclone Bejisa (last row in the middle) in December of that year. Haiyan (also known as "Yolanda" in the Philippines) was the most intense cyclone globally during that year and also the deadliest of the year, with 1-min sustained winds of 195 mph (314 km/h) and an official minimum central pressure of 895 mbar (26.4 inHg), and causing 6,352 fatalities.
