This is a print of an image over 250 years old. The author has been dead for longer than necessary for this image to be in the public domain under U.S. law --Cavalier2006 (talk) 14:47, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Please see the Virginia Historical Society's Web site for its conditions of use of images and objects from its collections at http://www.vahistorical.org/research/conditions.htm. --GeoWPC (talk) 16:11, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Their conditions are meaningless. It's in the public domain. I could make prints of this image and sell it to whomever a like and keep all the profits just like I can with the Mona Lisa--Cavalier2006 (talk) 05:02, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
