Masque féminin de style égyptisant trouvé dans une tombe. de la nécropole de Carthage Ce type de masques avait pour rôle de protéger les défunts. À l'origine, ils étaient rehaussés de couleurs (rouge et bleu).

Le musée du Bardo est logé dans un ancien palais beylical, c'est le plus important musée archéologique du Maghreb et l'un des plus riches du monde en mosaïques romaines.Il a été crée en 1882.
