Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	It is almost impossible to find an authentic photo of Max Hegele on the internet. This is one of the only two I have found and I chose it because it also shows the design he is most renowned for. This photograph was taken around 1900 so it is likely to be in the public domain, but I have had no way to prove it yet. This image should be replaced as soon as a free equivalent becomes available.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The image is of low quality and will be used only in the main infobox of Max Hegele's Wikipedia article.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	This image is a low resolution copy of a historic portrait, it is unlikely to be used for any commercial purpose.
