English: Satellite image of the May 2014 San Diego Wildfires, on May 15, 2015. At least 10 of the 19 wildfires were burning simultaneously, beginning with the Bernardo Fire, which had ignited on May 13, 2014. (See this NASA link for more info.) The largest fires are indicated by the red boxes, while the brown smoke from the fires are being blown out to the Pacific. |
