Médaille sans caractère officiel gravée et éditée par Charles Richard. Le buste de l'avers est gravé d'après un portrait peint de la Bibliothèque publique : l'inscription du revers est la reproduction de celle qui a été placée à l Hôtel-de-Ville et inaugurée le 31 décembre 1892.
