Description
English: Meini Veracius & Senacus Stones These stones, now preserved in St Hywyn's Aberdaron, bear clear inscriptions to two early Christian priests of the late 5th or early 6th century. They are undressed river boulders, but elaborately carved.

The left-hand stone reads: VERACIUS PBR HIC IACIT (Veracius the priest lies here) The right-hand stone has a longer inscription: SENACUS PRSB HIC IACIT CUMMULTITU DNEM FRATRUM (Senacus the priest lies here with many bretheren) A later inscription at the foot of the stone reads PRESBYTER (PRIEST)
