Summary

Description
English: The Ukrainian-Australian painter Michael Kmit (1910–1981), who won the Australian Blake Prize for Religious Art in 1952. Photo taken at his 65th birthday celebration at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Hall in Granville, Australia. The textured pattern visible is due to the textured paper the photo was printed on. This was a common type of paper for chromogenic prints including those for Ektacolor and Agfacolor in the 1970s.
Українська: Михайло Кміт, український-австралійський маляр.
