A Goat Major (rank of sergeant) and goat (lance corporal) of the British Army's Royal Welsh regiment, seen here in Monnow Street, Monmouth, Wales, during Day 8 of the 2012 Summer Olympics torch relay. Each battalion of the regiment includes a goat, always given the same name - Billy (William) of the 1st Battalion, Taffy of the 2nd and Shenkin of the 3rd. Numerals after the name denote which specific goat is the current incarnation.
