This photo of Dr. Johannes Maas and Mother Teresa was taken by his personal photographer. Her name is Ms. Toni Cordell. It was taken in Mother Teresa'a office in Calcutta during a meeting with Mother Teresa following her being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. On the table are awards for Mother Teresa from religious and political leaders in America, which were carried to Calcutta by Dr. Maas. She is seen handing him a signed bookmark. On one side was a poem, A Prayer for Peace, and on the reverse, a poem by Cardinal Newman, Radiating God's Love. The interview with Mother Teresa was one of the first after she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. She agreed to the day-long visit in light of her awareness that Dr. Maas, a pioneer missionary, was the founder of Worldwide Faith Missions, and he oversaw the building of 25 orphanages in India.
