Summary

Description
English: Black and white print of a photograph of ‘Ashshār creek in Basrah [Basra, Iraq]. No date is given. However, the photograph was first published in the second volume of John Gordon Lorimer's Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf , Oman and Central Arabia (i.e. the Geographical and Statistical section) in 1908, and this print is identical to the one found in that volume. The photograph is attributed to Mr A C Wratislaw.
العربية: مطبوعة باللونين الأبيض والأسود من صورة لخور العشّار في البصرة [العراق]. لا يوجد تاريخ. لكن الصورة نُشرت لأول مرة في المجلد الثاني من "دليل الخليج وعمان ووسط الجزيرة العربية" لجون جوردون لوريمر (أيْ قسم "الخصائص الجغرافية والإحصائية") في سنة ١٩٠٨، وهذه المطبوعة مطابقة لتلك الموجودة في ذلك المجلد.الصورة منسوبة لمستر أ. ت. راتسلو.
