English: Evidence of the attempted English conquest of Wales: remains of a motte-and-bailey castle near the village of Glyndyfrdwy, built in the 12th century to command the route through the Dee Valley. Known locally as Owain Glyndŵr's Mount. Owain was the last Prince of Wales. |
