| Description |
English: The 2022 Library of Congress National Book Festival returned to the Washington Convention Center Labor Day weekend 2022, and featured more than 120 authors, poets and writers in celebration of the festival theme, “Books Bring Us Together.” The Festival maintained its virtual presence, even with the return to the Washington Convention Center. Events on several of the stages were livestreamed, allowing readers from across the country to tune in.
With the return to an in-person festival, attendees found sessions that reflected their lives and interests in the lineup of diverse offerings. Books in all of their forms were celebrated with new storytelling and audiobook events. The Festival also included special authors interviews produced by PBS Books. C-SPAN, a longtime Festival partner, broadcast live from the convention center with interviews from several featured authors. |
