Object history This piece was originally part of a two-sided folding screen with Ogata Kōrin's "Wind God and Thunder God" on one side and Sakai Hōitsu's "Summer and autumn flower plants" on the opposite side. It was recently reformed into a pair of two-fold screens to protect it from damage.

in red, text surrounded by a red circle
"Bunsen" was another name of Hōitsu
Notes On the back of this screen is a painting of the Thunder God by Ogata Kōrin.
