Description
English: Notre Dame d'Afrique
Français : Notre Dame d'Afrique, aussi connue comme "Madame l'Afrique" ou encore "Lella Myriam" est située dans le quartier de Z'Ghara. Elle se dresse à 124 mètres d'altitude en hauteur sur les quartiers ouest d'Alger. La basilique fût achevée en 1872 après 14 ans de travaux, elle est l'oeuvre de l'architecte français Jean Eugène Fromageau. L'éxterieur est construit dans un style byzantin, quand à l'intérieur elle s'inspire de l'architecture hispano-mauresque.
