Description
Français : Junon, frégate de 2ème rang - Une frégate à voiles transformée sur cale (1861 - 1872) mise en chantier à Brest le 17 avril 1847 comme frégate à voiles de 46 canons, elle est transformée sur cale et allongée en 1858, puis mise à flot le 28 janvier 1861. En 1863-67, elle fait campagne dans la division des côtes occidentales d'Afrique. En novembre 1867, elle est affectée à la division des mers de Chine. Stationnaire, puis en réserve à Saïgon (janvier 1869). Elle est rayée le 24 mars 1872, et démolie en 1876.
