Summary

Description
English: Three Okapi knives, made in South Africa. The knives have no locking mechanism, simply a strong backspring. The knives were originally made in Soligen, Germany for trade goods and use by colonists in Africa. Nowadays they're made in South Africa. They're known for being good cheap utility knives, and also common weapons of petty criminals. The rounded-nose knive (sheepfoot blade) is a rigging knife, as unpointed knives were required/preferred aboard ships both to prevent jabbing injuries due to the ship's motion, and to discourage stabbings.
