DescriptionOn way to Sar Pass- colours of the morning I IMG 7133.jpg
English: It was just 5.40 a.m. & we have just reached at a point, after starting from Tila Lotani (12500 ft.) at 5 a.m., where we got a view on the western side. It was lovely & surreal. But it kept me wondering how we are getting the feeling of the horizon at western side in the morning. I have captured a celestial delight which recurrs daily, but is rarely seen by us & less captured in pictures. The feeling of the horizon on the western side in the morning is actually the SHADOW of our planet Earth seen in the sky. When the Sun rises in morning on the eastern side, a shadow of our earth is seen on the side opposite to the Sun, i.e.-the western side. This shadow is seen as bluish purple band which I have unknowingly captured. Cheers & welcome to Astrophotography! Taken on way to Sar Pass Trek in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh, India.
