Description
English: Youth using an oinochoe (wine jug, in his right hand) to draw wine from a crater, in order to fill a kylix (shallow cup, in his left hand). His nudity shows that he is serving as a cup-bearer in a symposium, or banquet. Kalos inscription. Tondo of an Attic red-figure cup, ca. 490-480 BC.

Jeune homme utilisant une œnochoé (cruche à vin, main droite) pour puiser le vin d'un cratère et remplir son kylix (coupe, main gauche). Sa nudité montre qu'il sert d'échanson dans un symposium (banquet). Inscription kalos. Intérieur d'une coupe attique à figures rouges, v. 490-480 av. J.-C.
