English: Piatt and DeWitt County Lincoln historical marker wide angle view. Looking north east at the marker. The marker reads: "Abraham Lincoln traveled this way as he rode the circuit of the Eighth Judicial District, 1847-1859. Erected 1922." At its base there is two placards one on the left reads "DEWITT COUNTY" and the one on the right reads "PIATT COUNTY". The marker is at the southeast corner of DeWitt County, intersection of roads 300 North and 2400 East, next to Piatt County intersection of roads 2100 North and 300 East, 1 mile south of the DeLand-Weldon school campus. |
