Summary

Description
English: Wreckage distribution chart from the official NTSB report on the in-flight fire and resultant forced crash-landing of Pilgrim Airlines Flight 458 onto the ice of Scituate Reservoir, Rhode Island, on 21 February 1982. The main wreckage and the separated right wing are visible at lower left (with the right wing much closer to the left edge of the image than the main wreckage is). A few items of wreckage are scattered back along the impact path, leading to the holes broken in the ice by the initial impact, visible near middle far right. Items of wreckage are numbered, with a ten-item legend at upper left identifying the numbered items.
