Description
English: Pilgrims' Hall, Winchester The grade-I-listed, half-timbered Pilgrims' Hall dates from the 13/14th century, and was originally a larger building which formed the guesthouse of St Swithun's Priory. The hall is believed to have the earliest hammerbeam roof in existence. The exterior features close studding with brick infill below the rail and large framing with arch braces above it.
