English: A plate engraved for the Macklin Bible after a specially-commissioned painting by Philippe Jacques De Loutherbourg. Photograph from the Bowyer Bible, Bolton, England. Bowyer Bible 16.2334. The Angel Destroying the Assyrian Camp. An angel attacking soldiers cowering on the ground with a sword of light (2 Kings 19:35). 1792. Inscriptions: Lettered below the image with the title, bible reference and: "P. J. De Loutherbourg R.A. Pinxt. / W. Sharp Sculpt. / London Published Octr. 5th. 1792, by Thos. Macklin, Poet's Gallery, Fleet Street". Print made by William Sharp. Dimensions: Height: 475 millimetres; width: 390 millimetres.
