Summary

Description
English: This view of the tepidarium looks ahead to a door leading to the caldarium (right hand window) and up a few steps to the laconicum (left hand window). A passage to the right leads to the shampooing room and the frigidarium (both off the picture). In the right foreground, a bather sits on the steps into the plunge pool. This passes under a screen, enabling bathers to swim directly from the tepidarium to the larger portion of the plunge in the frigidarium.
