Description
English: Princess Teri’i-vae-tua-vahine Pōmare (22 September 1869 - 4 December 1918), daughter of King Tamatoa V and Queen Moe of Raiatea. She was considered heir presumptive of the Tahitian throne in preference to the children of her uncle Pōmare V. This photograph is from a montage of 25 small photographs of members of the Tahitian royal family, titled La Famille Royale de Tahiti, created by Madame Sophia Hoare in 1885, probably from photos she took or compiled.
