Description
English: Image of Pulpit Rock, Mt Buffalo, Victoria, Australia, with an apparently female figure lying on the rock, stretched out looking down the sheer cliff-face of The Gorge (it is thought that figure is Alice herself, having set up the camera beforehand, and then posing for the photo).
Written on image lower right: "Pulpit Rock, Mt. Buffalo, Photo by Guide Alice".
Converted to digital from transparency: glass lantern slide, 8.5 cm x 8.5 cm.
Date between circa 1890 and circa 1930
