Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Socol, potrivit anexei nr. 1.13, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat şi o fascie undată îngustă, de argint.În câmp superior, pe fond roşu, se află un personaj nimbat ţinând în mână o bisericuţă, totul de aur.În vârful scutului, pe fond albastru, se află o barcă de argint în semiprofil dreapta.Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Personajul nimbat reprezintă cele trei mănăstiri existente în zonă încă din secolul al XIII-lea.Brâul undat reprezintă fluviul Dunărea, prin poziţia sa localitatea fiind poarta de intrare a acestuia pe teritoriul ţării.Fascia îngustă semnifică faptul că aşezarea este mărginită de râul Nera, care reprezintă frontiera de stat.Barca simbolizează ocupaţia de bază a locuitorilor, pescuitul.Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
