Description
English: View of the radars aboard the U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Canberra (CAG-2) at the New York Shipbuilding Corporation, Camden, New Jersey (USA), on 5 May 1956. The following radars are visible (front to back):
  • Mark 34 gun director with Mark 13 fire control radar;
  • Mark 37 gun director with Mark 25 fire control radar;
  • Mark 56 gun director with Mark 35 (SPG-35) fire control radar below the lattice mast, three other Mk 56 are also visible;
  • lattice mast with AN/SPS-6 (left), AN/SPS-10 (right) and AN/SPS-8A (top);
  • main mast with CXRX;
  • AN/SPS-12;
  • SPQ-5 fire control radars aft.
