Description
English: Map shows the landing point and British troop movements on August 26, 1813, in the War of 1812 in Maryland. While a portion of the British moved toward Tilghman Island, Maryland Militia held off another force of British soldiers northwest of St. Michaels, Maryland.

Harrison, pages 173-175; and "The Chesapeake Campaigns 1813-15" by Scott S. Sheads, p.49-51. Sheads is a retired ranger-historian from the Fort McHenry National Historic Site and Shrine in Baltimore.
