Bahasa Indonesia: Depok, Kemendikbud --- Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) Nadiem Makariem turut menghadiri pelantikan Rektor Universitas Indonesia (UI) Periode 2019-2024, Prof. Ari Kuncoro, SE., MA., Ph.D. Dalam pidatonya, Mendikbud menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Rektor periode 2014-2019, Prof. Muhamad Anis, yang telah membawa dampak besar terhadap pendidikan di Indonesia khususnya di kampus UI.

Ketua Majelis Wali Amanat (MWA) UI, Saleh Husin, melantik Ari Kuncoro setelah melalui tahapan seleksi hingga menyisakan tiga calon rektor. Dua kandidat calon Rektor UI lainnya adalah Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Abd Haris dan Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Wiweko, MPH, SpOG(K). Proses pemilihan Rektor UI berjalan berdasarkan asas profesional, non-diskriminatif, akuntabel, dan setiap proses berlangsung transparan. Proses pemilihan rektor terdiri atas penjaringan, penyaringan, dan penetapan, serta pelantikan. Rangkaian proses pemilihan Rektor UI berlangsung mulai dari Mei hingga September 2019.

Berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Nomor 020/SK/MWA-UI/2019 tentang Pemberhentian Rektor UI Periode tahun 2014 – 2019, Muhammad Anis, dan Pengangkatan Rektor UI Periode tahun 2019 – 2024, Ari Kuncoro (sebelumnya menjabat sebagai Dekan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis UI) ditetapkan sebagai Rektor UI Periode 2019 – 2024, yang menjalankan tugas dan kewajiban berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah RI nomor 68 tahun 2013 tentang Statuta UI.
English: Depok, Kemendikbud --- Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) Nadiem Makariem also attended the inauguration of the University of Indonesia (UI) Rector for the 2019-2024 Period, Prof. Ari Kuncoro, SE., MA., Ph.D. In his speech, the Minister of Education and Culture expressed his appreciation to the Rector of the 2014-2019 period, Prof. Muhamad Anis, who had a big impact on education in Indonesia, especially on the UI campus.

The Chairperson of the UI Board of Trustees (MWA), Saleh Husin, installed Ari Kuncoro after going through the selection stage, leaving three candidates for chancellor. The other two UI Rector candidates are Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Abd Haris and Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Wiweko, MPH, SpOG (K). The UI Chancellor selection process runs on the basis of professional, non-discriminatory, accountable, and every process is transparent. The chancellor selection process consists of screening, screening and determination, and inauguration. The series of UI Rector selection process runs from May to September 2019.

Based on Decree Number 020 / SK / MWA-UI / 2019 regarding the Dismissal of the UI Rector for the period of 2014 - 2019, Muhammad Anis, and the appointment of the UI Rector for the period 2019-2024, Ari Kuncoro (previously serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UI) was determined as UI Rector for the 2019-2024 Period, which carries out duties and obligations based on Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation number 68 of 2013 concerning UI Statutes.
