Summary

Description A plaque located on the northeast corner of 15th and F Streets, NW in Downtown Washington, D.C. It commemorates the former site of Rhodes Tavern, a Washington landmark that was constructed in 1799. Although Rhodes Tavern had been added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 24, 1969, it was razed in 1984 and replaced with Metropolitan Square.
