A complete gold Roman solidus of Theodosius I (AD 379-395), dating to the period AD 388-392. Reece Period 21. Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. VICTOR-IA AVGG. Two emperors, nimbate, seated facing on throne, the one on the right holding mappa and together holding globe. Between and behind, a Victory with outspread wings; below, a palm branch. Mint-mark T - R //COM. RIC IX Trier 90b.
