Other versions

This image is a digitally restored version of File:Rosalie Osborne Bierstadt, seated, unknown date, William Kurtz.jpg to remove spots and deterioration. Contrast was enhanced and the image was cropped to remove the border, which was signed "W. Kurtz". The top and left borders were very slightly warped, but the image was not stretched or rotated to correct this in order to preserve the image as best as possible. The loss in photographic information is minimal. Restoration work was performed on the original JPG file provided by the Brooklyn Museum Special Collections, online (see source link above).

This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: General restoration, including removing spots, hot pixels, and deterioration; crop. The original can be viewed here: Rosalie Osborne Bierstadt, seated, unknown date, William Kurtz.jpg.
