Description
Deutsch: F. Becker nach Rudolf von Reding-Biberegg: "Stellung der französischen und russischen Truppen bei Einleitung des Gefechtes vom I. Weinmonat 1799 im Muotatale." Die von General Rosenberg befehligte Nachhut der russischen Italienarmee Feldmarschall Suworows besiegte eine Vorhut der französischen Donauarmee unter General Masséna und sicherte so den Rückzug Suworows aus der Schweiz, zu dem dieser nach den Niederlagen General Korsakows bei Zürich und des österreichischen Feldmarschallleutnants Hotze bei Schänis gezwungen war.
