Signature: In pen and brown ink on lower right: "? ШАРЛЕМЯНЬ", i.e, "G (Г - possibly) SHARLEMYAN'"; related to the name "Charlemagne" as indicated by a pencilled note at the very bottom right of the page
Inscription: Inscriptions in Russian on banners at center and lower left and right. Graphite, another hand, upper right: rue de la / croix, faubourg / St. Honoré; lower right: Smain / charlemagne. Verso, graphite: no. 8 / E"; Rue Lt. xxx / (r.F.).

Marking: Stamp in black ink at lower right: text enclosed by a circle, "A.Ø.M / No. ["150" handwritten]".
