Description
English: The layout of Ryan's Mart, a late-1850s slave market in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. The auction gallery is the only surviving structure, and now houses the Old Slave Mart Museum. The area behind the museum is now a parking lot. This rendering is based on a map on display in the Old Slave Mart Museum, and is not drawn to scale.
