English: STS-30 Atlantis, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104, begins rollout from Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). OV-104 is mounted on top of a mobile launcher platform along with its orange external tank (ET) and two white solid rocket boosters (SRBs). The VAB scaffolding platforms have been raised to allow the STS-30 stack to roll out to its KSC launch pad. VAB door is open exposing the night sky outside.
