Summary

Description I nearly deleted this as it was taken in deep shade via my dreaded and rarely used flash and came out grainy and awful, plus I was hanging over a boardwalk railing! However, I don't often see these glowing neon psychedelic moths and thought y'all might like to see one. The crazy colors are totally natural, nothing added. It's nectaring on buttonbush and the larval food plant, climbing hempweed, lives nearby. (This photo is best viewed quickly and not too closely and is most likely temporary ;-)
