Description
English: The Seal of the Public Universal Friend (Jemima Wilkinson): a six-pointed star made by overlaying two three-pointed stars, likely an embellishment of the star symbol used by the Quaker Religious Society of Friends. Beneath the star(s) is a crucifix surrounded by the initials U. F., either for the Universal Friend or the congregation, the Society of Universal Friends. This logo can be found on the back of Wilkinson's carriage, has been preserved, and can today be found at 107 Chapel Street, Penn Yan, NY.
