Summary

Description
English: Moses Building / Sartori Building, 312 Second Ave S, Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington, USA. Now home of the Vietnamese restaurant, Cafe Huế. Built for Mrs. Sarah Moses and designed by the firm of Thompson & Thompson (Who also designed the Duncan Building immediately across the street), this building was once five stories, but (like many buildings in the neighborhood) it lost its upper floors after the 1949 Earthquake. Completed in July 1901, it was bought and renamed by prominent liquor merchant Rafael Sartori only 3 months later. See Summary for 312 2nd AVE / Parcel ID 5247800855, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, for more information (same building even though they omit "S" from the address).
