This is an image of a building or other location within the Pioneer Square-Skid Road Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district has been successively enlarged, and hence has multiple NRHP IDs: 70000086, 78000341, and 88000739

Summary

Description This is where 2nd Ave. S. and 2nd Ave. Extension S. part ways, in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington. This odd pair of street names is one of the results of Seattle's inconsistent plats. In this case, 2nd Ave. Extension extends the Denny / Boren plat into the Maynard plat south of Yesler Way. From this point (which also intersects S. Washington street) 2nd Ave. Extension continues on an angle toward Union Station; 2nd Ave. S. heads due south.
