Found in folder "Seattle Brewing And Malting Company, 1904-1910" Georgetown City Clerk's Files (Record Series 9123-03), Seattle Municipal Archives. Letter dated August 12, 1908 on Seattle Brewing and Malting Co. (Rainier Beer) letterhead. The letterhead shows a birds-eye view of a brewery. The picture is clearly the Seattle Brewing And Malting Company (Rainier Beer) brewery in Georgetown, Seattle, Washington. The side facing us is what would now be Airport Way. Some buildings have lost upper stories, the cold storage building was demolished 2008, and the buildings in back are long gone. It is also possible that some of this is a fanciful artist's rendering; so far I haven't been able to find photos corresponding to this era to be sure. |
